Internet on the Tahitian

I've heard on other cruises that wireless internet is available, and if you bring your own laptop, it can plug in with that. Does anyone know if the Tahitian Princess is like that? I just purchased a new laptop and was looking forward to being able to download the pics from my digital and to be able to send soem home (I know you can't download pics onto their computers).

Any advice on how I can achieve this?

You have to sing up and use at the Pursers desk $$. I'm not sure if Tahitian P. offers this. Call Princess 800 # and ask?

I don't mind paying for the internet, but what I want to do is be able to send home photos, I know that I can't download my pics from princess's computers, I guess I will just find out.

I just got off the Tahitian on Saturday but of course I didn't even check to see if wireless was available onboard, so I don't know the answer! But I did want to suggest asking this question on the Pacific Islands forum in the Ports of Call section of this website--I've found that a lot of the info specific to the Tahitian Princess is found in that forum rather than here on the Princess board. No idea why, that just seems to be where people ask and answer the most questions about the Tahitian. :)

as I said, they offer it "fleet-wide"....and those words are right from the Princess website
