NCL Dawn - Dock in Kings Wharf - best beach for short afternoon?

Hi All,

 

Will be on the NCL Dawn in July. We dock at King's Wharf at 8am, leave at 4pm. Can someone recommend the best beach for that short timeframe?

 

I remember going to Elbow Beach as a kid and loving it. Is this doable?:cool:

I would suspect that most people would use the bus to Horseshoe beach...

Since you are only there for a short time either take a Taxi, they will give you a sightseeing tour on the way, pointimg out all teh interesting things. It's easy to pick up a cab at the beach for the ride back. If in doubt take the ship's sponsored tour and you'll be sure to be back in time for departure.

There is a little beach, nice easy walk from the ship. There is a nice bar and a place to rent snorkle equipement etc. We found this out out when we sailed on the Voyager last Oct. There are bigger beaches( Elbow Beach ) but you would have to take a bus or ferry. So if time is short definitley to this beach. It is a free and a 10 minute walk from the ship.

From the Dockyard? This sounds like from St George....I have never heard of a ten minute walk beack from the Dockyard...unless you are talking about snorkle park....
