3night post cruise Miami advise please.

Hopeing this board will hit a wider audience. Its more post cruse options than just hotels.

 

We are coming over from the UK on the NCL Pearl Dec12 and have 3nights which gives us the best part of 3.5 days to play with before flying home 15th pm. This is a no port cruise so we want to do some sight seeing rather than relax.

 

We were thinking of using a Southbeach hotel near the restaurants etc. and then doing 2 full day tours. We have done 1.5day/1night on south beach and done bayside before so are thinking rather than stay in Miami as a base we might as well try something else and get a car and visit places that way.

 

One thought was to drive the keys is that feasable in the time? other ideas welcome for the two full days

 

The other thing is how busy will the hotels get for this time of year could we just wait till just before we leave or if we decide to drive just get something on the day.

 

If we do the car are we better off getting at the airport so the return is simple or can we get/return to the pier and taxi from there.(I understand off airport is usualy cheaper).
