Berlin Sightseeing

I am sailing on the Rotterdam June 22 and will be visiting the German port Warnemunde on friday,June 30. I have arranged the private train thru the ship to arrive in Berlin. What's the best way to sightsee on your own and what do you think are the most important sights to visit ( for the day)? Thanks for any help from past cruisers. Regards,
