Tipping guide-lines for a private tour

Can anyone who has used private tours in St Petersburg (2days) give an indication of the level of tipping for the driver and the guide?

I've asked the same question---

Have been advised--10% 2/3rd to guide 1/3rd to driver.

Of course it's up to each individual, but that's the general guideline on private tours.
