They have them posted as 7 - 9am, for breakfast but when I was on the ship depending on how many people were still in the cafe after 9 they kept the buffet going. One morning it was going on 11am when they finally shut service down to begin for lunch. Room service and the Blue Lagoon is 24 hours.

The Blue Lagoon has a very limited breakfast menu, not sure how late you can get breakfast there. According to the published schedule, even though the Blue Lagoon is listed as having 24-hour service, it's closed from 5:00 - 10:30p.m. This info is right out of the Freestyle Daily. Also, the Aloha Nui Cafe (buffet) is open for continental breakfast at 6:00a.m., and regular breakfast hours are from 6:30 - 10:30a.m. This was the schedule on the 6/5 sailing.

So, is it possible that the dining rooms serve breakfast until 9:00 but the buffet is open later?

It seems this was the case on our RCCL cruise. If we wanted to be served we had to be there by 9:00 but the buffet was open until 10:30.

Yes, the Grand Pacific dining room was open 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. for breakfast, while the buffet served it from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. (and just a continental breakfast for half hour before that).

The reason why this restaurant (Blue Lagoon) is listed as closed from 5:00 - 10:30 is it serves a dual purpose, it becomes the Spanish dinner restaurant during this time and the food is great!
