Previous Gala Buffet Question

REGINA

Recommended Posts

As I asked earlier, my kids said there was no Gala Buffet last week on the Triumph.

I had them bring me their Carnival Capers. Thinking they were just too busy enjoying their first cruise they might have missed it. I was wrong. THERE WASN'T ONE. I can't imagine why, but there wasn't.

This has never happened to us in our 7 cruises.

I didn't see your other thread. (Wondering why you started a second thread on the same topic?)

I've never been on a Carnival cruise that didn't offer a "Gala Midnight Buffet". Picture-taking is usually around 11pm, with the buffet opening at midnight. I haven't been to one in several years, but it's always been announced in the Capers. It's not on the first formal night, but later in the cruise.

I don't recall ever seeing it mentioned in the Capers. The Matre'd would announce when it would be at dinner the night before, and again that night.

I just checked my capers and it was always listed.
