Two Questions

We are going to on the Westerdam Sept 17th Alaska Cruise. 6 of us will be flying into sea/tac on the 16th. We would like to stay in a nice hotel in downtown Seattle - close to the Pier. Could anyone suggest a hotel and then what would be the best way to get from airport to hotel.
