Should I cancel...ncl spirit 4479 - 1st time cruise in the bow

Most of the people who do the booking on NCL(or any other cruise line for that matter) have never been on a ship for a cruise...Midships is less motion but I have been in the front of some similar ships and it wasn't a problem....FOR ME. I don't know how sensitive you are(but you should know I was in 30 foot waves on the Zenith mentioned on the other thread and wasn't sea sick at all)...

I would not cancell. I get motion scikm=ness all the time. I was so worroed about my first cruise and had no problems. I took bonnie during cruise and ginger tablets for a week prior. No problems.

Now a few cruises later I bring bonnie but I don't take it everyday just on days it might get rough seas. I still take ginger tablets just in case.

On the CCL Inspiration we had a front cabin I was worried. We had some rough seas and again I had no problems.

This is just my experience and you could be different but wanted to share.

We love the front of the ship and 9-11 on the floor levels. There isn't much wave action that low. The only thing to watch for is where you room is located to where everybody leaves the ship for shore. It can be really noisy and there's not much you can do about it. I heard from a couple of people complain when we have been on the Star on our last 2 cruises..........have fun:)

Just got done picking our cabin for 10/29/06...

I don't remember the deck plan exactly....but I thought cabins that started with 40....were in the bow??

44... something - Seems almost midship to me...right across from the medical center?????????

Hanna or No??

help.. Has anyone ever been in the bow of the spirit on the 4th floor? this is our 1st cruise...ncl recommended it because of the size of the room.

down on the 4th floor you will have less movement and no, I wouldn't cancel......you can't tell what the weather will be...I dont' get sea sick but didn't know that until I went on a cruise ;)

This is an inside cabin. It is quite large. Go to cruisedeckplans.com and go to the pubic part of the sight. You can find out all the information for any cabin.

I presume you mean 4498? I have the 07 brochure and there are only 2 44 cabins on the plans and the 4498 looks about twice the size of all the rest and its listed as a inside stateroom (but I've never been on the spirit)

Charlie

4498 is an oceanview cabin with a porthole. 4479 is an inside.
