does anyone know who to contact for jeep rental in cozumel?

Plenty of companies rent Jeeps. Most of the 'major' companies are on the island, as well as lots of local ones.

 

A popular choice is Avis. They have locations at both peirs, and the airport.

Another good choice is Excecutive, who is also at both piers.

You can reserve a Jeep online through both, as well as the other major companies.

 

Or, you can just wait until you get there. Whichever pier you arrive on will have many car rental companies with Jeeps.

The price is usually around $60, and by law that includes the basic insurance.

We rented from Avis right on the dock last March. It ended up being right at $100.00 with insurance. The jeep was in good condition and we had a wonderful time. You can go on their website and book in advance, but we were just playing it by ear and they had plenty available. Make sure you wear plenty of sunscreen and a hat if you ride with the top down. Have a great time.
