pier Posted June 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2006 We're going on the July 10 Oceania cruise--Insignia--to the Baltics. Has anyone had experience getting from the dock in Zeebruge to Bruges and back? Oceania is offering several excursions just for transportation, but we'd like to have more flexibility rather than to come and go at their set times. 2dogcarol Posted June 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2006 I just back from the Baltic cruise on the Regatta. Bruges was a sore spot with many people. The tour director told us that only about 20 taxis come out to the ship for the independent passengers. That scared a lot of people into paying Oceania around $60/person for a bus ride into Bruges and back. We decided to take the Oceania bus as we didn't want to take the chance of not getting a taxi. I don't know why Oceania can't provide shuttle buses like most other cruise lines do.
