Copenhagen - Scandic Hotel

We're adding a few days in Copenhagen before our Baltic cruise.:D

Our TA is suggesting using Scandia Hotel for our stay. Anyone use them? Pros/Cons?

Just back from Star Princess Baltic cruise...although I didn't stay at Scandic- I did hang out in the lobby for an hour Saturday am waiting for Tycho Brahe planetarium/IMAX to open. It looked nice - way nicer than the non-air-conditioned Ascot Hotel where we stayed before the cruise. Scandic is a block from the Vesterport S-tog (train) station, also a few blocks away is an easy walk to Tivoli

Thanks, I couldn't find much on this hotel so glad someone has at least seen it and thought it looked A-OK.

We stayed in Scandic Copenhagen 2 nights before the cruise and one after.

It is modern hotel, clean with very comfortable beds, rooms are not samll, had a refrigirator, very convenient located about 5 min from Tivoli Gardens and City Hall square, where you can pick up HO-HO bus. Fantastic buffet breakfast was included with the room. When you see prices for dining in Copenhagen, you will appreciate it even more. We used Hilton points to stay there, so I do not know how expensive the hotel is and if there are better hotels for the same price.
