My favorite: http://www.beachbody.com. Also try http://www.mybeachbody.com and click on the link for WOWY (Work Out With You). It's a virtual gym and also tracks progress of weightloss and inches lost, also tracks blood pressure and cholesterol. Worth checking out!

I also like fitday.com. Helps track calories and nutrients. Also, http://www.zoneperfect.com for those of you interested in the Zone diet. I lost more weight after I stopped the Zone diet and started Weight Watchers though.

Hi All!

I want to thank everyone for posting such helpful websites - I only wish that everyone would post a brief description of what the website is for, when it's not obvious. I have this aversion to clicking into websites if I don't know. I suppose I should trust here, but, ah well..........

for example:

www.dwlz.com

www.weightwatchers.com

www.aimeesadventures.com

obviously the middle one is Weight Watchers, but what do the other two offer?

Thanks!

I do not know if Bally's chain is available in all parts of the country, but Discovery is having their annual Body Challenge that includes 8 weeks FREE at Bally's. (Of course there is a sales pitch-which was mild last year). You also get recipes, forums and more...

I don't think I already posted this - so here goes.

http://walkingguide.mapmyrun.com/

I use this to figure out the distance of a potential walk or bike ride. Just plug in the address of where you start, then click on points along the way to create your route. The map automatically centers on the last point you clicked on!

I haven't actually registered on this website - I just put in my route, then print & keep the map for future reference.

(It's a great idea to leave a map of your route at home when you walk/run/ride by yourself, so in case you're injured, people can find you. I started to do this after I fell off my bike on a secluded road. I wasn't hurt & got home safely, but all of a sudden I realized no one knew exactly where I was & what time I was supposed to get home! )

On the bottom left, you can also calculate your rate of speed for walks/runs you already do.
