Are there ironing boards in the cabins?

We leave Friday and started packing today and we are hoping Carrribean Princess has ironing boards just in case. How good are the blowdryers ?

No ironing boards in the cabins. There are laundermats on almost every deck, with irons, and ironing boards. I would take your own blow dryer!! :)

No ironing board because Irons are a safety hazzard and a violation of Coast Guard Code. The blow dryer is a bit on the anemic side, if you use the kind that causes the lights to dim in your neighborhood, you will best served by bringing it.

Why iron on a cruise? No, I don't work for them, but I swear by Downy Wrinkle Release. This stuff really works! Spray it on, smooth it out, and there ya go! No laundry stuff on a cruise. Stain? Shout makes individual towellettes. Wipe it away and it's gone! :D

No need to worry about ironing. Pack each piece of clothing in a bag like you get fromt he dry cleaners. Hang as soon as you get on the ship. I couldn't believe it really works! No wrinkles - no ironing!

It is a frown causing device, She picks up my shirt and the iron and frowns for about 4 minutes, then puts that aside and starts the process again on another.

I've have thick, curly hair and have never had problems with the hair dryers....I'd save the space for souvenirs. :D

NO IRONING....thats work! Just hang your clothes in the bathroom while you take a hot shower - no need to iron

I have to admit that the Princess hairdryers were better than most that are offered in hotel rooms. I brought my own, as I have long, thick hair and I'm very fussy about how it dries. However, for those who don't have those issues, the Princess dryers are very good.

 

I also give Princess credit for having the intelligence to put the hair dryers by the dressing table/desk and not in the bathroom. Kudos to them for thinking!

I've got fine (but a lot of it) permed hair and have never had a problem with the hair dryers so I never bother to pack mine. It's not worth the additional weight in the luggage plus it takes up space.
