sandydownunder Posted July 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2006 Anyone know if you can do this show independently rather than take the ship's (expensive)tour? Appreciate any advice. Sandra
trinidad Posted August 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2006 To the best of my knowledge, the Boi Bumba show that is available to cruise passangers is a specially arranged event. The real Boi Bumba is 3 days long and attracts over 30,000 people. The 1-1 1/2 hour show is a shortened presentation presented solely for the cruise ship. I suppose you could sneak in as I did not see anyone taking tickets but it was also complementary for RSSC passengers. The show is SPECTACULAR. I never expected to see a production like this in the middle of the Amazon. The music and dancing were great and the costumes unbelievable. Do not miss it even if you have to pay.
