4 day cruise ??

:confused: Hi...I am a newbie to this board! My husband and I are going on our 1st cruise w/out our children ;) . We are leaving out of NYC and going to Canada....Ok...here is my question. Do they have formal dinner nights on a five night four day cruise? I am kinda hoping so, we can actually have adult conversation at dinner so I would love to be able to be all dressed up too!:p Thanx for the advise!

they do as far as I know. We had one on our 4 day Fantasy cruise.

Yup :D There is a formal night on all the cruises... usually it is your first full sea day... but may vary, you can check with your TA... Have fun!

How many formal nights are there?For cruises with one formal night, the formal night is scheduled for the second or third evening of the cruise, with schedules permitting. For cruises with two formal nights, the first formal night is scheduled for the second or third evening of the cruise; the second formal night is scheduled for the second or third evening prior to the end of the cruise, with schedules permitting.

 

1-day cruise: no formal nights

2-day cruise: one formal night

3-day cruise: one formal night

4-day cruise: one formal night

5-day cruise: one formal night

6-day cruise: two formal nights

7-day cruise: two formal nights

8-day cruise: two formal nights

9-day cruise: two formal nights

10-day cruise: two formal nights

11-day cruise: two formal nights

Hi Funky, and welcome to the board. On all my cruises, formal night has been the second night onboard. Are you going on a four-day or five-day? I see the Victory has 4,5, and 7. (I remember our first vacation w/o the kids - wow, are you in for a treat. So nice to have adult-only conversations.)

Yep-- even a weekend cruise to nowhere gets a formal night. Its your cruise. Get dressed up all the nights if you want. You will see all various ways of dress every single night. You will no tbe out of place either
