Galapagos-has anyone been in Oct or Nov?

I booked our Galapagos trip for late October (our anniversary) but just recently read in a travel guide that this time of year has the roughest seas. The book didn't really describe how rough it gets...any advice from those who have experience?

According to all five of the naturalists on our cruise two weeks ago, the roughest seas are from July to September when the Humboldt (Antarctic) and Mid-Equatorial currents, which are both cold water currents, are at their strongest. You should be fine. Enjoy. We sure did!
