Cruising from Miami, flights from FLL

What is a good time for a departing flight from FLL if you are cruising out of Miami? We will be cruising RCL in April of 2005 and I am finding much cheaper flights to and from FLL than Miami. So I am wondering a ballpark idea of a time that I should be looking for, for a return flight.

we cruised on the VOyager out of Miami and flew out of FLL. We saved over 100.pp more and that included even getting us a stretch limo.

 

After the cruise was over--we were literally the last people off the ship.. we were at the airport by 11:30. I would be safe and not book anything before 1pm. (april is spring break time so it will be crowded.) Its a 45 minute drive to the Fll airport.. but oh its so worth the savings.
