shopping in marigot

how does this compare to philipsburg? I've been to st martin twice but have never made it over to marigot. I enjoyed martinique french shopping, is it similar. would it be possible to go to orient beach and then over to marigot in the afternoon?

Yes, you should be able to do that easily, and if you're looking for something similar to Martinique shopping, then you're very much on track.

We would shop Philipsburg for linens, alcohol and jewelery.

I have to give you a little heads up so that you know, but shopping on the French Side is a bit more expensive than the Dutch Side but the shopping is indeed more unique than the Dutch Side.
