No, you cannot. None of the bars have cash registers, only computers. That way there is less likelihood of people being robbed or money being stolen.

No cash is used on board the ship for any purchases at all. Everything is done with your Sign & Sail card.

Absolutely.

 

Anything purchased onboard (drinks, gift shop, photos) goes directly on your sign and sail account only.

 

You have the option of setting up your sign and sail account with cash down or a credit card. Even if you give them a credit card you can go to the Pursers Desk at any time during your cruise and pay down you account with cash.

Of course it might ruin my trip if I knew how big my bar bill was while I was still aboard...it would certainly ruin my wife's. :p

If you're worried about running up a huge bar tab, you may want to consider ordering drink coupons as a gift to yourself. You get 4 drink coupons for $19.50. If you order frozen drinks, it's a good deal. don't waste them on beer. This way you can pre-plan how much you spend on alcohol before you leave.

 

You're credit card will be charged when you order the gift coupons, so you wont have a huge bill to pay at the end o

f your cruise.
