late flight out of Miami

HELP! Just found out that our NOON flight out of Miami is now an 825 P.M. flight. Any advice? Should we just hang out on board the Century as long as we can or should we attempt to go somewhere? We will have stayed two nights in South Beach pre-cruise. We rarely fly into Miami so don't remember much about the airport. Does anyone know if any hotels near the port might hold our bags for a fee if we rent a car or something? Our cruise is in November right aftet Thanksgiving.
