Cabin location on POH

We are sailing on the POH in May of 2007. We have a question for the more "veteran" cruisers. Is 6 cabins away from elevators enough to avoid the noise? We usually do not get to plan this far in advance and do not have the luxury of getting so close to midship. Many thanks.

In my opinion, yes....but it varies from cruise to cruise depending on who your neigbors are!
