MLinFL Posted July 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2006  I have to choose between these 2 cabins for our cruise next May on the Serenade from San Francisco to Vancouver. Cabin 9584 is in the middle of the bump and should have wonderful views. Cabin 1558 is next to the bump and has a bigger balcony. OK, you experts --- which would you choose?? I also posted this on the RCI board, but have not had any replies. Thanks! :) Mary Lou
Gitane Posted July 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 13, 2006 We have been in 9576 on the Serenade. It had a pretty large balcony, and was a great location. Either of the two would be a good choice, with maybe 9584 having a slight edge. It would have views both forward and aft, but 1558s view forward would be blocked somewhat by the hump. 1558 has a larger balcony though. Choice would be yours as to more balcony room, or a better view. The itinerary really doesn't make a choice as far as I can see. Mostly sea days. Both are the same size cabin. And starboard gives you a better chance of great scenery, and great sunrises!!
MLinFL Posted July 13, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted July 13, 2006 Thanks - we did decide to go with the 9584, mainly for the views. We have never sailed in a "hump" cabin, so we want to give it a try. Mary Lou
