I wonder why!

I wonder why Princess will not allow me to switch from a BD cabin to a guarentee. My wife and I are booked on a B2B on the CP Nov 5 and 12th. Originally we booked a BD and received a cabin assignment. We later decided we would prefer to try a guarentee and hope for an upgrade to a Caribe balcony on one or both of the trips. We have cruised with Princess 11 times and hope our longevity might help. The only thing our TA was told is that since we had the same cabin both weeks they would not move us to a guarentee. Since we are prepared to change cabins between weeks, I don't see why they care.

My TA said she will try again in a couple weeks!

Any comments! TIA

Aren't the BD cabins limited in number? If so, I would think you stand a good chance of upgrade anyway as long as your reservation is marked that you will be willing to accept upgrades.

I agree, if you are willing to change cabins it hardly makes much difference to Princess.

Is it too late to cancel and rebook - ie, past final payment?
