going to costa maya in Aug and needing some help

Im going out of my mind trying to find just the right excursions for the right price.

I found a web site that has great prices ( i think ) and good stuff to do. Im just not sure if its a good one to go thru. I know there are risks of going outsite the cruise line for excursions. but I was hoping that any one can tell me if they have went thru these ppl or heard of them or any little thing that can help... the website is: http://www.mayahualtours.com/

so any help would be sooo much helpful.....

Try posting on the ports of call forums (on the Costa Maya board)... you can do a search and see if you can find anything on that company.

I'm not sure what type of excursion you are looking for, but if you are considering a Mayan Ruins tour, I would reccomend David & Ivan at http://www.chacchobenruins.com We did thier tour in Costa Maya and it was great. They are native Mayans, with roots at the Chacchoben ruins site. Ivan actually lived there before the ruins were discovered. Lots of info on the Costa Maya port of call boards about this tour.

If you are looking for another type of excursion, as GC said, try the Costa Maya board for more info. Good luck! :)

Hi,

I am going in August as well. I was worried about booking outside Carnival. I found Island Marketing and they do business on a lot of islands and stops. There website is http://www.costamayacruiseexcursions.com/. You pay 10% deposit. If your ship doesn't come to port, they will refund. When you arrive, you pay the rest in cash to the vendor.

I booked the Beach Party at Pez Quadro for my husband and in-laws. In addition, my husband and I are going to go snorkeling. Can't wait!

Good luck. Hope this helps.
