Cunard officers posting list 7/06

Hello. I’ve had the chance to chat with a former JR officer of Cunard, now with Princess. Here is what I remember he told us about the postings of Cunard officers. (7/11/06)

 

Paul Wright is on Diamond Princess (but was on Sapphire Princess)

 

Ian McNaught is on Sun Princess

 

Nick Bates is on Sapphire Princess

 

David Perkins is on QE2

 

Chris Wells is on Oriana

 

Martin Stenzel is on a P&O ship

 

He also commented that he was all for the rotation as it gave the well qualified Cunard staff to get the promotions they long deserved. I think that is an interesting comment after all the outcry on here and other places about shifting staff between the lines.

Hear Hear! Frankly a lot of the complaints were very selfish - 'I want my Cunard exactly as it was and its not my problem if they can't promote people because they only have a 2 ship fleet'. Cunard will be the stronger for this.

Does this mean that Captain Perkins is likely to be on the 29th July cruise (and subsequently the 5th August one)?
