pes949 Posted July 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2006 Folks.... I was the person who made the comment (NOT COMPLAINT) about the water churning sound in the aft cabin balcony.... It was loud but you could hold a conversation. The sound as many note is actually pleasant but it is actually much louder than you might expect as the props are churning a lot of water. On side balconies and at higher decks is is a LOT quieter. So... My apologies to those who misunderstood. One of the best things was no smoking fumes from other passengers and no fumes or odors form the ship(I have seen concerns about this on other Princess ships). As for the vibration from the stabilizers---made things rattle especially the upper bunk bed. It was much like flying on an airliner in turbulence-did not bother me. So... some negatives-yes.... some positives-yes... Was it a disaster-no. Basically, I feel that every problem can be fixed and hopefully princess will do so soon. Colo Cruiser Posted July 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 13, 2006 Thanks for the clarification on the churning water from the "aft " balcony. You are right. That does make a difference as it is quite loud on the stern wherever you are standing. :)
