Navigator ? - LOL when was the heel laid, and what was the ship to be????

The heel was laid in 1991 in the old Soviet Union and the Navigator was to be a Spy :eek: ship. They had the hull finished when the Soviet Union went down and for many years the "Navigator" sat in the yard in Russia. The RSSC(or ship owners) brought the hull down to Italy and the ship we know as the Navigator was finished in 1999.

What fun! I am a big spy story fan and as a little girl would find clues that suggested the Russians had landed! But has anyone been on Galaxy who can give me some feedback?
