Suggestions on transport from orlando to port canaveral

We live just a couple of miles south of Port Canaveral. There seem to be a lot of people who rent cars from Budget @ MCO, then drop them at the Budget terminal in PC and have Budget drop them at the Port. This would probably be the most cost effective way to travel. You would also be able to stop at Publix (local grocery store) and pick up any water or pop you wanted to take onboard.

The drive from MCO to PC is pretty darned quick ... about 45 minutes in most cases (unless there is an accident). If you have a bit of extra time, you can go over to Cocoa Beach and put your toes in the ocean!

Anybody got a good suggestions on how to get from mco to port canaveral w/o using the cruiseline? Total of 5 women ages 21-77 and trying to save a few $$$.

you could try to get a 12 pax van van w/driver-anything smaller will be tough with 5 ladies and all their luggage --the easiest thing would be to use the cruiseline shuttle service

We have used Art's Shuttle, and they are very reliable. I called them on their 800 number and booked the transfers in advance. The driver met us by the baggage area. He was holding up a sign with our name on it.

We would definitely use them again.
