Warnemunde

Recommended Posts

You can also take the train from Warnemunde station (just a few minutes walk from the ship) to Rostock which is a larger historic town. It only costs a couple of euros for a day ticket and you can use the trams in Rostock aswell for that (look for the strassenbahn signs). We had a few hours in Rostock then went back to Warnemunde in the afternoon and spent a lovely couple of hours walking along the seafront.

Where does the NCL Dream( or other ships) dock in Warnemunde?

Adjacent to the beach. It's actually one of the best port facilities for cruisers in the Baltic area - across the street from the train station, next door to a Hertz office, a short walk to the tourist area. Warnemunde is the resort area of Rostock and a very pleasant place to visit.
