More Questions: Jewel Owner's Suite vs Penthouse Suites

Hi--

Need help with a few more questions about the Owner's Suites on NCL Jewel. Appreciate any/all advice, since we've never cruised on NCL!!

 

1) Does the OS really have 1-1/2 baths? Does that mean there is a powder room?

 

2) In the OS, is there only a curtain between the bedroom and living room, or are there also real doors?

 

3) We don't need a second bed, but we do prefer having 2 bathrooms. We could use help deciding between an Owner's Suite (10004) or a Penthouse Suite (11006)??

We truly enjoyed staying in this suite for 11 days last year on a NE/Canada cruise! 1) Yes there is a powder room at the entry hall 2) There are real doors between the large bedroom and the huge parlor/dining area 3) Am unable to pass on anything about #11006

 

The Blue Diamond Suite was fantastic! We had all of our meals served en suite and were able to relax in the parlor watching movies and dvd's. We so liked being able to spend time on both of the balconies. The master bath is fabulous....huge shower with unbelieveable shower heads and water pressure! The dressing/closet area was loaded with storage space and an excellent makeup area! Enjoyed being able to hop into the jacuzzi and watch TV----yes, there are 3 TV's in #10004!!!

 

The parlor/dining area is spacious enough to have semi-large parties!

 

Our butler and stewards really did pamper us...they were fantastic!

 

We only left our quarters to go ashore and to go to the onboard casino!!!

 

Hope that you are able to get this super superior suite!!!

I've not been on the Jewel, but have been on the Star and Dawn....stick with deck ten AAs - deck nine are significantly smaller, but also very nice.

 

We find these accomodations perfect in every way.
