Carnival's hotel packages

Anyone use the carnival pre and post hotels in Rome? Also Did anyone book the italy country tour on the way to the ship and/or the 13 hour best of rome on debarkation day on return trip to Rome. Prices of rooms seem reasonable since they include transportation to and from ship. But where are the 2 hotels they use and how many diamonds would AAA give them?

Some people on our roll call used the CCL hotels in Rome last month. The hotels were the more modern chain-type hotels out near the airport.

Why not do a search on them yourself to get your answers? Visconti Palace and the Cicerone are the downtown Rome hotels they use. The airport hotel is the Hilton.
