Christmas Cruise on Sovereign of the Seas

My parents are taking us on a cruise this Christmas (2006) - we have a 6 year old that we are taking with us - has anyone been on a Christmas cruise that can tell us of anything that occurs on the ship - such as - does Santa Claus make an appearance? I have heard of gifts from the cruiseline on some ships - has anyone been on this cruise?

We haven't gone on a Christmas cruise but were looking into one.

 

The people on this site told me that Santa comes and there are special events going on.
