Sapphire Beach Question

Good Morning, Leaving on the Crown in 2 days!!!!! Just wondering if anyone knows how far Sapphire Beach is from where the ship is docked? Also any input on the beach would be appreciated, Thanks Cheers Nancy

Its about a 17 minute drive in low/medium traffic from Havensight (where most ships dock).

 

PS: The beach side restaurant and bar at Sapphire are still closed, I checked a couple days ago.

Saphire is a really good beach, with facilities and shade.

You will enjoy it.

You can also get there by bus (about 20 minutes ride after an easy 15-minute walk to bus stop by K-Mart) for $2 per person.

Warning: locals will lie to you and tell you there is no bus that will take you there. Ignore them.

We are on Crown but now they have taken away at.thomas and san juan. We are on the july 22 cruise which was suppose to be the the 20th. Thanks for all of your help. Cheers Nancy
