Help Please I Need To Chose One,which One Do You Like And Why.

May 07

Thank You

I have sailed on both and had great cruises!

The Triumph holds a special place in my heart - my first ever cruise and when I stepped on board I KNEW I was hooked! I have sailed her twice - Eastern and Western. I sailed the Glory on her "old" Western run.

I would say if you have the option of selecting between the two it depends on what you are looking for.

The Glory is a newer ship and has some ammenities that the Triumph does not such as a Sushi Bar open each evening and a Supper Club (extra cost). If these things do not matter to you then it is a toss up and I'd base it on price and itinerary (which of course can always change).

I would be happy to answer any other questions.

Easy decision.......Book them both:D I went on Glory this year and absolutely loved it. Going on Triumph next year. Can't wait. You will have a great time whichever one you choose. If you are flying, look into costs for each destination to see if it is a huge difference. Port Canaveral was very easy and we are looking forward to a pre cruise stay in Miami next year. Triumph is probably a little cheaper since it is older than Glory. Let us know which one you book.

Does the Truimph have a supper club or not? We are booked for next year and hear is the information we have:

Carnival Triumph - Introduction

With a ship as fast as the Carnival Triumph, we can offer you 7 day Caribbean itineraries not previously possible from Central Florida. But speed is only one of Carnival Triumph's many features. With the Carnival Triumph 11-story atrium crowned with a ruby-red glass ceiling, a reservations-only supper club, countless clubs and lounges, and an award-winning children's program, this is the perfect "Fun Ship" for any family vacation. The Eastern Caribbean itinerary calls on St. Thomas, St. Maarten and a private island in The Bahamas, while the Western Caribbean visits Key West, Belize, Cozumel and Progreso/Merida.

As fun as it is to talk about the cruises you can go on, it would be hard for us to tell you which one to go on. You really should consider who is traveling, where you want to travel and if that doesn't matter then add up the total cost and go with the cheapest cruise.

I was on the Glory in March for an eastern cruise and loved the ship. Wished I had packaged a back-to-back east west cruise since it was so nice. One thing to keep in mind, pay close attention to where your room is in location to what may be around you. Our room was above the casino and we could hear the slot machines most of the night. We must have been over an area that didn't get too much foot traffic cuz it wasn't really that bad, but you could still hear the sounds of the machines.

Hope you enjoy your cruise. I wish I could go in your place :D

I don't think you'll be disappointed with either ship. I've only sailed on the Glory (so far) and want to sail on it again before November. Maybe I'll make it.

Once that's done....I'd like to try another ship for the adventure of it.

No - it does not (unless they have done some amazing things in a recent dry-dock!)

And ruby red ceiling??? The Triumph doesn't go out of Central Florida or do those itineraries either, so that info isn't even close to being correct. My guess is that description fits the Pride -- back when it was home ported at Port Canaveral before they moved it to LA about three years ago.

We've done the Triumph twice (western and eastern) and the Glory once (old western itinerary) and loved them both -- would do either one again in a heartbeat. To me, the Glory seemed like a bigger better version of the Triumph class ships. Cruising out of Port Canaveral was a plus, since it's only 45 minutes from home.

Unless they've made some major changes since December, this itinerary doesn't at all match up with the back-to-back I took (November '05 - December '05) There was no "ruby-red glass ceiling" that I remember either. I also don't remember any supper club. This was shortly after drydock so I can't imagine that big of a change. You should talk to your TA and make sure they have you on the right ship/itinerary.

I could be wrong of course, but I'd be extremely surprized.
