With excursions and beach/sun all day I don't know how you would stay up all night. I am so exhausted at night that after the show I drop into bed. I guess I am just getting old.

Me too! :)

I thought I could stay up easily, and there were some nights I could have used someone carrying me back to my cabin, I was so tired!

But on the last night I stayed out on Lido until 2 a.m. and there were a lot of people still out. I'll bet it was that way nearly every night.

No deck loungers, though. You can sit, but lying down wasn't an option as far as I could tell. Maybe someone could verify? ;)

I 'napped' about 4-5 hours per night. When i came home i was SO tired all next week. Didn't feel tired on the boat, too much going on to sleep.

Here's a neat exercise, take your total cruise cost and divide it by the total time on the boat in hours and you get the cost in $/hr.

So for me it cost me 8$/hr to sleep on the boat ;) Thats how i justified minimal sleep. :)

Yes...all night if you desire. In my photo link below there are pics of a group of us out there at about 3:00AM in the Carnival Glory Cruise - Wednesday album.

I have often gone to the Lido Deck for pizza an/or ice cream after the disco closed on cruises.

and YES....you can snag a lounge chair. I slept on a loungechair on deck one night on a Triumph cruise...it was wonderful! I definetly needed a blanket but I will not soon forget that night!

We generally head to the Lido around 3-4 depending on when the disco lets out... head to get pizza, generally plenty of people out at that time... nobody ever wants the party to end :D We only need a couple hours of sleep on a cruise :D I can sleep when I get home!!!

Pools wont be opened. I think a hot tub is opened til 10- 11pm.. but all are closed by midnight.

Casinos are even opened til 2-3 am. you will see lots of people out and about at that time

I sometimes wake in the middle of the night or like 3 or 4 am and I would walk around, the Lido, or the exterior promenade, except when they are hosing the outside promenade off, it was never closed nor was the Lido.

And there was Pizza avaliable 24/7 in fact I think there was Ceaser Salad makings 24/7 as well, along with the usual drinks, Iced tea, juice, water coffee etc.

I kind of liked those quiet times.

The whole ship seemed to be ours for that week, I felt very much at home there.
