I’m Onboard Celebrity Century – Got Any Questions?

Recommended Posts

You’re welcome, Bill <BK>. Our walking score was 5 miles at Stockholm.

Joe, it does indeed depend on the ship and dock. At Helsinki we took a tour from the ship that let us finish downtown and then because it was a lovely day made a 1.75 mile walk back to the ship, maybe 25-35 minutes. Tallinn was fine because we entered at the nearest part of the Old Town. I understand however that one of the docks is a distance east of the city center. Although we were downtown in Oslo, it wasn’t much of a test because we were on a tour to the countryside anyway. At Stockholm the cab to the Vasa was too much for a couple so shuttled in to Gamla Stan and walked the rest of the day. Your point about sharing cabs makes a sure fire approach. In the case of both long walks I knew beforehand what I could fall back to in the way of public transit and cabs. There is definitely an element of personal viewpoint in judging the walking.
