parking in New Orleans

Can anyone help me with info on parking New Orleans? We are looking at the late Oct cruise on the Sun, the port opens around Oct 15th and I can't find any current info on the port and was wondering how parking is at the pier. Thank you.

Hi Skymama,

 

I live in New Orleans. Before Katrina, we were able to park in the whale lot at the Riverwalk Mall. You can try checking with the Hilton Riverside to see about long term parking. We are also going on a cruise in December from New Orleans. We are planning to rent a limo bus to take us to the ship and pick us back up. If I hear of any news on parking I will post it on the site.
