NCL Customer Service Expereince

It was a wait (@ half-hour) but once I got through, things worked out just fine:

I had booked us Cabin 0066 on the NCL Sun for an Alaska cruise next June 2007. That cabin is below the Great Outdoor Cafe, so I was afraid of early morning noise -- i.e., the sound of the deck hands moving chairs, etc.). I asked if I could simply move one deck down to the same level of cabin (9077) without having to cancel and rebook??

*The answer was "yes".

*They immediately e-mailed out my revised confirmation.

*The change showed up in their on-line Guest Registration form.

*Even Travelocity showed the change immediately as to open and booked cabins.

Kudos to NCL Customer Service for a job well done -- both efficiently and pleasantly.

Just thought I'd pass this along...................

P.S. I've cruised enough to have known better from the start -- i.e., should have booked a cabin "sandwiched" between other cabins to begin with!! I must be getting old………
