cdoobiest Posted July 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2004 Hi, looking at 14 day med. cruise on celebrity millenium on 10/24-11/7. Any pros/cons going so late in oct/nov. will the weather be quite cold? will it be rocky seas? all replies appreciated. thanks
CaribbeanCruisesRock Posted July 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2004 Depends, well sometimes there are less people so it can be good.
NorfolkSailor Posted July 6, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2004 Have sailed on Navy ships several times in the Med in the fall. The weather is changable and you can encounter a bit of chop or rough seas but it can also be quite calm - just depends. It can also be warm or chilly - especially depending on your itinerary (with the Northern Adriatic (Trieste) being cooler and the Agean (Greece) being warmer - as a rule. You will want to take layers of clothing so you can adjust - and a windbreaker is a must... Hope this helps. - Kevin
