elevators on ships (valor)

Hi , we will be going on our first Carnival cruise, I do not like elevators! Will I be able to avoid them on the Valor................I am 40 years old and healthy for the stairs! Thanks

You may in fact get around quicker on the stairs-those elevators are always full, especially in the evening!:rolleyes:

We intentionally try not to use the elevators. Stairs help to keep the weight gain down

I make it a point to use the elevators as little as possible. It annoys the DW when I won't join her and the DD but I need the exercise. And I invariably beat them.

 

I am 40 years old and healthy for the stairs!

 

It must be great to be only 40. I wish I was.

We were on the Valor last year and only used the elevator twice the whole cruise. Once to avoid crossing Lido in the rain, and once because my husband had to try the glass elevators.:) Both were on purpose so could have easily been avoided.

Do the elevators go to the front of the ship?

I fully suggest you (or any body else) start today doing some sort of major stairs exercise ....

not just walking them use them at a brisk rate if you can....
