Yukon Jeep Tour - Skagway

Anyone aboard NCL done the Yukon Jeep Tour in Skagway? Any feedback?

Couple of questions:

1. Is it a pretty "tame" trip or do you get some true 4 wheeling in?

2. Do you follow a similar path as does the White Pass Summit Train?

3. Do you actually go to the Summit?

Want to see the scenery of the White Pass Summit, but thinking the train ride is a bit to "passive" for us. Looking for other options.....

I think Yukon posted some comments about this on the old board. We didn't go on this one, but did a similar one in Wrangell. The one in Wrangell was pretty tame. You did get off on dirt roads, (old logging trails), but they were pretty well maintained and did not require 4 wheel drive. I've actually been on paved roads that were in worse shape.

We drove a car up to Emerald Lake, and saw the jeep excursion driving up the highway while we were on our way down. They headed up the main road, but I don't know where they went from there.
