underwater camera

Recommended Posts

I found a Fuji underwater camera at Walmart that cost around $8, maybe

a little more. I got it specifically for Sting Ray City, and my kids used

it at Paradise Beach too. The pictures were really good! The colors were

really sharp as were details.( think of that gorgeous blue-green water)

I'm trying one again this week for Miami/Key West.

This is the first camera I used last year after getting certified for diving. It's a film camera but durable and reliable.... And takes good photos too..... This price on this link is too high but look around.. I got mine for $20 from Ebay brand new..... Good luck

Cruzegirl,

I had gotten one just like yours off Ebay but mine would not work past 20 feet. I ended up buying one in Roatan so that I would be able to take pictures. I have since bought a MotoMarine II film camera and a housing for my digital camera that we will use in Cozumel in Sept.

Loveturtles,

If you are snorkeling and the sun is shining, then a disposable underwater camera from Wal-mart should be fine. Just keep in mind that distance will not be great but upclose should be okay.

Dave
