CB Cabin E734 any comments ???

Just got upgraded (?????) to this cabin from a BG cat. It is off the aft of the ship. Would love to hear about any experiences from anyone who has been in it or near it. Thanks

You did get lucky. It has an overhead so you are not sitting directly in the sun. You cabin is a mini suite, so its larger.

Emerald Minis are the greatest. I would consider that a huge upgrade. They normally sell out early. Aft location was nice, close to the aft pool, and right up the aft elevators to the Horizon Court and Cafe Caribe. Enjoy!

This is not a mini-suite, but a regular balcony. The aft balcony cabins are some of the most coveted. If it were me, I'd put a "no more upgrade" on the reservation and enjoy that cabin!

I believe you are mistaken...E734 appears to be a mini-suite.

E734 on the CB is a category BB Oceanview with balcony. The mini suites on Emerald deck are the 6 on each side toward the back of the ship.

 

You lucked out with the aft facing balcony! :D

Aft balconies are great, I had my first one on the CB this past October (C752). Be aware, though, that if your are prone to motion sickness, you do feel the motion more than you would in a midship cabin. It affected me the first sea day, so I went to see the friendly folks at the infirmary and got straightened out. After that it was no problem for the rest of the cruise. Other than that, great cabin with a big balcony and a great view - not to mention that getting to the Horizon Court was a snap :)

I agree that E734 is not a minisuite, it is a very coveted aft facing BB balcony cabin. They usually sellout well in advance of the cruise, so you are very lucky indeed. Mark the booking no further upgrade and enjoy. You will be spoiled and always want an aft balcony from here on out. While the motion is more noticable in the aft cabins I liken it more to a gentle jiggling than actual rocking or swaying. We loved it and slept like babies.

Does anyone know if there is a vent which produces a loud noise or smell on the E734 and 735 cabins on CB? I am considering a change from A504 to one of these cabins. I was wondering why these 2 cabins are still available on a sailing in March.
