How dark is a balcony cabin in Conquest?

Are the drapes/curtains in a balcony cabin like those in a hotel that block out light? I am hoping so just in case I want to take an afternoon nap or sleep in I don't want the light blaring in and blinding me. TIA

Well...during the day....the cabin is NOT that dark...but we've never had any problems taking a nap in the afternoon...if you're really worn out...you can usually sleep just fine!

 

My wife will take several mid-afternoon naps...that's usually when I watch some decent on-ship, on the TV, Movies!:)

I have not been on the Conquest but....the Triumph, Destiny and Pride certainly had the heavy drapes - over sheers - that could be pulled across the window and door. It is plenty dark - very much like a hotel room. Perfect for napping or privacy ;) during the day. Enjoy!!

Our balcony on the Conquest did have the type of heavy, room darkening drapes you're thinking of. We never closed them during the day to see how dark it got but I'm sure it will be enough for a nap.

Yes, our cabin on the Conquest had blackout drapes.
