dongordon Posted July 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2006 Are there major differences between these two ships? My daughter was on the AOS and said it was the best cruise ship she was ever on. Don
GMoney Posted July 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2006 No major differences except for their departure ports / itineraries.
Ocean Boy Posted July 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 30, 2006 I was on Explorer and she is my favorite ship. Except for decorative and art work the first three ships in the Voyager class (Voyager, Explorer, and Adventure) are nearly identical. Their itineraries are quite different though. dongordon Posted July 30, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted July 30, 2006 I was told that the AOS has a separate "Adults Only" pool. Is the same true with EOS? Don
GMoney Posted July 30, 2006 #5 Share Posted July 30, 2006 They both have the exact same Solarium Pool which is billed as adults only. How that rule is enforced varies from ship to ship.
daveky Posted July 30, 2006 #6 Share Posted July 30, 2006 Agree with above posts. EOS and AOS are virtually identical except for decor. Only major differences are ports of call. Have been on both several times and choose the ship based on which islands I want to go on. Had great time on both. Dave
dongordon Posted July 31, 2006 Author #7 Share Posted July 31, 2006 Thank you...I thought that AOS had 4 pools and EOS had 2 pools. Perhaps I misunderstood. Don
GMoney Posted July 31, 2006 #8 Share Posted July 31, 2006 Thank you...I thought that AOS had 4 pools and EOS had 2 pools. Perhaps I misunderstood. Don They have the same # of pools: main pool (1 pool area with 2 separate pools), solarium pool, kids pool (very small, deck 11 aft). Again, they are carbon copies of each other, other than the decor. Only between the first 3 Voyager ships and the last 2 Voyager ships are there any variances, and those are minor.
