Looking for a Car Rental Recommendation - Miami

[773 Miles Away]

Since our flight doesn't leave until 630.. we're contemplating renting a car to go shopping or something after the Carnival cruise. Hopefully we can do the self assist and get off early - any ideas on how early that can be?

 

Anyway.. I'm wondering where everybody else goes to rent a car - is there a company I should avoid? One I should seek out? How much should I expect to spend if I just need it for the day?

 

I would need to get the car from the port and be able to drop off at the miami airport as well - is it easy to get from the port to the car rental company - will it cost me extra?

 

I'm hoping to rent a car for 4 adults with plenty of luggage space - so we're thinking an SUV or minivan.

 

Any advice would be great.
