seacruise9 Posted July 31, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2006 Hi, I am booked on the QM2's four-night cruise that visits Halifax, Nova Scotia in early September. This will be the first time that I have visited this port. What is the weather usually like in Halifax in early September? Will I want to wear shorts or long pants? Will I need a jacket? Thanks
smeyer418 Posted July 31, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2006 We were in Halifax in September a couple of years ago. It was shorts weather. Sometimes it can be cooler but it should be typical Boston weather is early September. Ps we will be on the same cruise.
NovaScotian Posted July 31, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2006 We generally have good weather in Halifax for most of September. Halifax is a great city and you can walk to almost everything you could want to see. Since it will be the Labor day Monday, the shopping will probably be limited to gift shops on the waterfront. I was on the Med cruise in June, and I hope to go to Halifax that Monday to see the QM 2 in the Harbour.
