We can't wait to visit pb next week!!! Do you offer banana boat rides? Can we bring you anything from the states? Thanks so much for all of the great info about cozumel! Jill

Yup! BB rides are only $10USD per person...have fun!!

I've been spoiled a lot by all you CCers, and my food cravings have been doused for now! If you'd like to bring a little something for the island kids though, I'll make sure it gets into the appropriate hands! The following is a post Sally made a while ago:

 

The Cozumel Chrysalis Groups supports children from less fortunate families by providing school uniforms, shoes and school supplies. For high school students, inscription fees and book fees are also paid. Chrysalis helped 186 students in the 2003-2004 school year that is just ending. The list for next year was just finalized yesterday and includes 276 students. Some of these students will move off the island over the summer, some will not pass the test to get into high school, so we anticipate a final number close to 250.

 

Gently used backpacks are fine, broken zippers and fraying edges are not. We want these kids to look like any other student at their school. Chrysalis collects cash donations and school supplies from island visitors all year long. The current NEED LIST includes glue sticks, scientific calculators, ink erasers and backpacks. Also, some schools are requiring blank computer diskettes. Other items can be purchased here if we still need them. Please no more pencils! We have a billion!

I am so glad to see these posts about PB, love the personal replies! They have made us decide on Paradise Beach when our ship arrives on July 29th.

 

My question though, my husband and I are bringing our 2 teenage sons, 14 (turning 14 that day) and 18. I see families bringing younger children to PB. Looks like you have all the great waters toys to keep them busy but do you have many teenagers visit? Thanks!

There were a bunch of older kids when we were there last week...all having fun! A lot of them were on the iceberg and trampoline....my son (only 12-but thinks he's much older!) didn't think he'd have fun...but loved it!

Yup, we have kids of all ages visit and as ljrfrm affirms, they all have a great time!
