You can't find a cruise for NCL from New Orleans because the Norwegian Sun repositions to Vancouver for Alaskan cruises that summer. There should be a Panama Canal cruise available in mid April.

7 Day Western Caribbean Cruise Starting Apr 8, 2007 From New Orleans, LA (The last regular cruise from New Orleans)

18 Day Panama Canal Cruise Starting Apr 15, 2007 From New Orleans, LA

3 Day Pacific Northwest Cruise Starting May 3, 2007 From Vancouver, Canada

7 Day Alaskan Cruise Starting May 6,2007 From Vancouver, Canada (The first regular cruise from Vancouver)

 

After sailing Alaskan cruises from Vancouver for the summer, the Norwegian Sun is scheduled to assume the Norwegian Wind's 10 and 11 day itineraries from Honolulu. The Norwegian Spirit will reposition from New York City to New Orleans later that fall to assume the Norwegian Sun's Western Caribbean itineraries from New Orleans.

 

Ships often move to reposition for cruising seasons, where there is a greater demand. No one really wants to cruise to Alaska during the sub freezing cold winters, and fewer vacationers wish to cruise to the Caribbean during the blazing hot summers.;)
